Does any of this sound familiar?

College admissions feels like a black box.

No clear strategy

You're not sure which activities actually matter — or how admissions officers really read an application.

Essay paralysis

Your student has a story worth telling. Getting it on paper is another thing entirely.

Wrong college list

Reach, match, safety — built on guesswork instead of real data and honest self-assessment.

Flying blind on financials

Merit scholarships, financial aid, FAFSA — a language no one taught you, with enormous stakes.

Hi, I'm Jennifer

Over the last decade, I have worked with hundreds of high school students anxious to get into their preferred college or university. I have helped these students achieve admissions success in one of the most academically competitive areas in the U.S., as well as students from across the country and internationally. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a student attend a perfect-match school.

One afternoon at a summer party, a woman approached me and asked why her daughter had been rejected by most top schools despite having a 4.5 GPA, 12 AP classes, a 33 ACT, an 8th-place ranking in a class of 650, and impressive extracurriculars. I explained to her that she was likely missing specific strategies on several parts of her application and that her highly paid college advisor wasn't providing the right information. Many families fall into this trap, and at great expense. Having my guide and templates would have yielded better results.

After providing 1:1 advising to families, I wanted to make my college admissions process framework and strategies accessible to everyone. It bothered me that bright, motivated students might not benefit from these effective strategies. The College Admissions Success Guide and Templates provide access to my plan and framework, without a significant investment, often reaching five figures.

My students have been accepted to the top 50 colleges and universities in the country, including the Ivies, public universities, liberal arts colleges, and prestigious art schools. And many have earned generous merit scholarships.

I attended Claremont McKenna College, and founded a Silicon Valley marketing company. My recent work as a college counselor has been incredibly satisfying, seeing students find their best choice college or university.

In Their Own Words

"Jennifer was extremely understanding, patient, and helpful in so many ways as my college counselor. This fall, I will be attending UCLA. Not only did Jennifer help me get into many selective schools, but she also helped me understand what I wanted to do in the future by giving me advice on steps I should take to further my education."

Liz, UCLA Class of 2022

"Jennifer brought exactly the expertise we needed to give our child a competitive edge in Ivy League admissions. Rather than producing a cookie-cutter essay, she used her worksheet prompts to help our child find a compelling, authentic angle — one we never would have arrived at on our own. We made the mistake of starting with a different consultant, and the contrast was clear. Jennifer is the advisor I'll be recommending to every family in our circle."

Absolutely. Chapter 3 addresses the Ivy League directly. The same strategies that make students competitive at selective schools make them stronger applicants everywhere.
When should we start?
The earlier the better — but the guide works whether you're starting in 9th grade or picking it up junior year. Chapters work in sequence or as standalone references.
What format does everything come in?
The Guide and Workbook are downloadable PDFs that can be printed. The planning templates are Excel files — fillable on your computer or printable. If you don't have Excel, you can upload them to Google Sheets.
What's the difference between the Guide and the Bundle?
The $19 Guide includes the full 29-chapter PDF plus two Bonus Chapters totaling 74 pages.
